-

0 Steve and Vivienne Muir of North Berwick-based gin producer NB Distillery cheer latest deal Scottish gin producer NB Distillery has announced its push into the US market, with two of its brands set to be rolled out across 20 states in the coming months.

The deal, expected to provide a £4 million sales boost over the next five years, will see NB’S Original London Dry Gin and Navy Strength introduced to Total Wine & More, the largest drinks retailer in the US.

Both products will initially be introduced to 80 per cent of Total Wine’s stores across New York, New Jersey, Florida and California, with plans to expand the range across additional states later this year.

With NB set to open a bespoke distillery and visitor centre next month in its home town of North Berwick, the listing also comes as the firm switches to a 24-hour production process.

Founder Vivienne Muir said: “We have been evolving and expanding throughout Europe and Asia and to have the interest and ‘thirst’ from this retail giant is hugely significant in our growth plans.”
