Partick Thistle Mccarthy must start
It is hard to get your head round Saturday’s insipid first-half display at Tynecastle. After grinding out a gutsy point against Aberdeen the team were a pale shadow of themselves.
They were shambolic for 45 minutes, deservedly three down at half-time and sold the fans who paid good money short. When you look to the more experienced players to try to make things happen or lift the team, they were hiding. Changes at half-time meant an improved second half but it wouldn’t have been difficult. Young Andrew Mccarthy, unluckily left out of the starting XI, must start against Hibs. A product of our academy, he showed others what was missing. Formation-wise we need to play 3-5-2. It does work better.
