Motherwell No point complaining

- Derek Wilson

Motherwell received plaudits for their performance against Celtic on Sunday but, once more, the referee overshadowed proceedings. However, amid the cries for something to be done, we already know what will be done: nothing.

The only people who really care are the fans from the disadvantaged team. It is doubtful anyone in the Motherwell team blames Scott Brown for his play-acting. How could they when Curtis Main collapsed in the box in the last seconds, though not quite as theatrically as Scott Sinclair a shade later, and it barely raises an eyebrow? Those within the game have accepted that conning the opposition and referee is part of the sport. Fans, if only for their blood pressure, should do the same.
