Yet another defeat

It was round two on Saturday as Brechin City faced Dumbarton following a disappointing 1-0 defeat by them on the previous Tuesday.

With the Glebe Park playing surface looking great, there was no need for any inspections.

Dumbarton opened the scoring after 11 minutes and piled on the pressure there on in.

City’s Craig Storie scored a beauty seven minutes from time, but there was still time for Dumbarton to grab another goal five minutes later.

City had a perfect opportunity to bring it back to two-all but a wide penalty miss by Graham meant that Dumbarton held on to their lead.

Dumbarton then scored another to give them a 3-1 victory and it was yet another defeat for the Glebe Park side.
