Contractor to work on second Moxy hotel project

Clark Contracts, the construction and maintenance contractor based in Paisley and Edinburgh, is cheering a double success with Moxy Hotels.

The privately owned firm, which employs more than 250 people, has secured a contract to construct a 208bed Moxy Hotel in Southampton. It follows an earlier appointment to undertake work on the 230-bed Moxy Hotel near Edinburgh Airport, scheduled for opening in late 2018.

Michael Scanlan, director at Clark Contracts, said: “Securing the second contract to construct the new Moxy Hotel in Southampton is, we believe, recognition of the way we have invested in and developed our capability and resources over the past few years.”
