Scotland scrum-half Hart reunited with Solomons at Worcester Warriors

- By GARETH BLACK

Scotland international scrumhalf Grayson Hart has linked up with Alan Solomons at Aviva Premiership club Worcester Warriors until the end of the season.

Hart previously played under Solomons during a twoyear stay with Edinburgh from 2013-15, making 24 appearances for the capital club before switching to rivals Glasgow for two seasons. He joins Worcester after leaving Championship outfit Ealing Trailfinders with immediate effect.

The 29-year-old will provide cover in the No 9 position after Luke Baldwin was ruled out for the rest of the campaign.

Director of rugby Solomons said: “Grayson is a strong, physical scrum-half who has a very good understanding of the game. I know Grayson very well from our time together at Edinburgh and I have no doubt that he will fit in well alongside our current group of players. We are fortunate to be able to secure him for the rest of the season.”

New Zealand-born Hart has won three caps for Scotland since making his full debut as a replacement against Canada in June 2014 and has made 21 appearances for his adopted country in Sevens.

Earlier in his career he played international youth rugby for New Zealand and was a member of the squad that won the 2008 World Rugby Under-20 Championship.

Hart said: “I am extremely excited to be joining up with Warriors and I will be looking to help the side as much as I can between now and the end of the season.”
