In step: Thousands of dancers set to descend on Glasgow for world championships
Aubreych ann ,16, daisy henderson ,13, and Gill ian Crowe, 17, jump for joy as the World Irish Dancing Championships is about to get under way in Glasgow. The prestigious competition, which brings together thousands of dancers from around the world, begins today at the city’s Royal Concert Hall venue and runs until 1 April. Glasgow saw off competition from Belfast, Dublin and Killarney to host the event.
