Teesside tie-up: Wood nets five-year deal with acrylics specialist Lucite

Energy services firm Wood has secured a new five-year contract with Lucite International UK, which specialises in the design, development and manufacture of acrylicbased products such as Perspex. Aberdeen-based Wood will provide industrial services at the Cassel site in Billingham, Teesside. Dave Stewart, chief executive of Wood’s Asset Solutions business in Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia, said the tie-up “further strengthens Wood’s onshore footprint within the chemical and manufacturing sector in the UK”.
