Ideagen beefs up its office in Malaysia

- By MARTIN FLANAGAN

Ideagen, the global software firm whose main office in the UK is in East Kilbride, is expanding its operations in south east Asia.

The company said its new office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, will enhance the company’s support, development and service capability for its 3000-plus client base, including Airasia, Lion Air and HK Express. About 40 staff will be based there.

Barnaby Kent, Ideagen’s chief operations officer, said the expansion would cement Ideagen’s place as a leader in the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) marketplace.

Ideagen, an Aim-quoted business, employs more than 130 at its East Kilbride site.
