Three arrested over hare coursing

Three men have been arrested and charged in connection with hare coursing activity at a farm near Haddington.

Officers were called to Merryhatton Farm around 7:10am on Sunday.

The three men – aged 17, 38 and 50 – were released on an undertaking to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court at a later date.

Police officers have also said that a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
