Politics filleted
Fraser Grant (Letters, 26 March) should appreciate that I wrote to The Scotsman on 24 March because I believe that any British Government that treats British fisheries as bargaining chips in its negotiations over Brexit will rightly incur the opprobrium of the Scottish people. He should appreciate that the best way to frustrate the aspirations of our fishing communities would be to consign the question to the party political arena.
He should learn not to allow his personal party preferences to interfere with his understanding of my simple letter that made no reference, actual or implied, to party politics.
