Wave worry away

Our obsession with rising sea levels is becoming tiresome. This morning someone was predicting that sea levels will rise by 50cm by the end of the century.

If our successors see that happening, they will presumably build on progressively higher ground. Land levels rise anyway, as we demolish and rebuild over the rubble of centuries. Every major excavation reveals Roman remains, or the skeleton of a king under a car park or shopping centre.
