Heart of Midlothian Unlucky Berra

International weeks are a time for reflection, not least on how much the great majority of fans put club first and find these games a distraction – unless tournament qualification is at stake.

Christophe Berra was extremely unlucky not to catch the eye of Alex Mcleish and John Souttar is surely ready for promotion to the full squad. Our Irish contingent did get the call, though Kyle Lafferty had to withdraw. We need him fit and healthy to continue providing goals, which have otherwise been in short supply.

Dens Park is not a happy hunting ground and Dundee will be desperate for points but, despite our dreadful away form, Sunday’s game is one we can and need to win to take a major step towards confirming top six status.
