Ross County Managers’ dilemma

-

Just when Ross County are looking to build some momentum before the split, they head to Celtic Park, where they haven’t won before and the odds will be very much against them again.

Do Stuart Kettlewell and Steven Ferguson write the fixture off, play the fringe team and keep things fresh for the vital home match the following Tuesday against Partick Thistle? Do they use it as a drill for a “more winnable” fixture at home to Hibs at the start of April? Or do they put maximum effort into this in an attempt to get at least a point? That isn’t an easy decision, but I wouldn’t mind a dress rehearsal of the systems to be used against Thistle and Hibs. The Thistle match in particular is of huge importance – lose that and relegation is certain.
