Kilmarnock U20s did us proud
Loads of matches squeezed into a short space of time to allow for a winter break… then no matches for numpty international fixtures that no one bothers their backsides with!
Killie were well represented in the Under-21s but surprisingly Scotland’s form team had no one called up to the seniors… surely Stephen O’donnell deserved a chance?
I went to the Excelsior Stadium to see Killie’s U20s in their Scottish Cup quarter-final against Motherwell. It was a bit David and Goliath as we have a lot of small players, but they battled constantly to get a deserved win. Standouts were Innes Cameron, Ewan Mclevy and Alex Samizadeh, who scored two. Well done to Andy Millen and his boys who did us proud.
