The Scottish Business Resil‑ ience Centre (SBRC) has strengthened its top team after recruiting its first chief operat‑ ing officer.

Lynsae Tulloch joins the organisation from a senior corporate affairs position at Perth‑based utility giant SSE. Prior to that, she worked with the NHS as a programme con‑ sultant, where her respon‑ sibilities included digital transformation projects for the National Services Scot‑ land and developing a frame‑ work for social media crisis response.

The SBRC was set up to cre‑ ate “a secure Scotland for busi‑ ness to flourish”, encompass‑ ing areas such as cyber secu‑ rity and employee safety.

Chief executive Mandy Hae‑ burn‑little said: “Lynsae is a fantastic appointment to assist us throughout and beyond this period of growth for the organisation.

“Her previous experience, using a wide range of skills to build meaningful relation‑ ships with key partners while harnessing untapped oppor‑ tunities, will stand her in good stead to help us reach out to new markets. Those same skills will help Lynsae to com‑ municate with our current members and the wider busi‑ ness community on potential challenges and issues.”

Tulloch added: “Business resilience has never been so challenging – especially for SMES which make up the backbone of Scotland’s econ‑ omy. This is a fast‑paced, ever‑ changing landscape.” 0 Lynsae Tulloch joins the organisation from utility SSE
