What a sterling job the guys did down in Dumfries last Saturday. Although it was disappointing not to have taken maximum points back up the M74, we would have more than settled for a point having been 2-0 down in the first half. But the players’ attitude is second to none and they never know when they are beaten.

We’re going to need that same kind of determination if we are to make a success of the playoffs. With the way Dundee United and Morton have been performing lately, I’d fancy our chances against either of those sides. What we don’t need is any injuries to the likes of Ryan Hardie, Scott Pittman or Craig Halkett. These talented individuals are the core of our team and we need them fit and raring to go.
