Queen of the South Scoring strategy

- Neil Cameron

Usually when your team scores a last-gasp equaliser it makes a draw feel like a win, but having thrown away a two-goal lead prior to drawing level it left our fans with mixed feelings.

Four points is a reasonable return from a double-header against Dundee United and Livingston, but we really need to be taking maximum points. After a run of games against the teams above us, we now enter a decisive stage of the season with games against our direct rivals. We can take confidence in the fact only St Mirren have scored more goals than us. Worryingly, only Brechin have conceded more, suggesting our best strategy for the rest of the season will be to try to outscore our opponents. The attacking players we have make this a possibility.
