Rennie completes 117-mile run

Scottish lib de m leader willie Rennie has completed a gruelling 117-mile run to raise funds for a mental health charity.

The MSP ran the Fife Coastal Path from Kincardine to Newburgh over the Easter weekend and celebrated by popping a bottle of fizz at the finish line.

Mr Rennie, who is a keen distance runner, took on the challenge to raise £2,000 for the Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH).

However, he more than trebled his target with £7,000 donated to the cause yesterday.
