Fresh sheep worrying warning issued

Walkers have been warned to keep an eye on their pets as the lambing season gets underway.

Leaders at West Lothian Council said improving weather would mean more individual­s getting out and about. But they also urged dog owners to keep pets under close control. A spokesman said: “Lambs and sheep can be horribly injured or killed by dog attacks... Check out Scottish Natural Heritage’s Spring advice.”
