Hear no evil?

Why do Scottish sports commentators make a point of apologising during every single Scottish domestic football match for the foul language used by morons in the crowd except when it is a game involving either half of the Old Firm? They are particularly stone deaf to the bigotry and bile bellowed before, during and after their derbies.

Do they think that by only highlighting it in other Scottish domestic games they are somehow legitimising the Glasgow hatefest?
