Scots seek help over abuse images

The number of Scots seeking help to stop viewing child abuse images has risen by 55 per cent to 2,508, new figures show.

Data from the Stop it Now! campaign, run by The Lucy Faithfull Foundation, showed 36,443 people across the UK contacted the scheme in 2017.

Tom Squire, clinical manager at The Lucy Faithfull Foundation, said: “Stop it Now! is determined to protect children from abuse and the devastatin­g impact of having their image repeatedly shared across the internet.”
