Major homes plan for derelict industrial site
Hundreds of homes and student flats will be built in Aberdeen under newly expanded plans.
Rental accommodation specialist Inhabit has added detail to earlier proposals aimed at breathing new life into Aberdeen’s Broadford Works, with the submission of plans for 460 homes and 430 student flats within the city centre industrial site.
The designs also include offices, shops, restaurants and cafes. Buildings would be connected by a network of landscaped routes, while 40 per cent of the A-listed Grey Mill would be demolished.
