Poor relief

Jakey Rice Morgue It’s becoming quite tedious now. Now he has to work out which Jews he can associate with, and which Jews he cannot associate with. He has to be careful not to insult one group of Jews, knowing he cannot possible please the other group. The character assassination he is currently suffering is shocking.

Med1aone I welcome Corbyn to the world he has helped impose on the rest of us where you can’t do right for doing wrong or speak without running it by the hate crime unit first.

Offthegrid Oh dear, Mr Corbyn, haven’t you heard of Galileo’s experience in the Dark Ages, don’t you know that with some groups you have to ascertain from them what views it is acceptable to hold before you open your mouth? An anti-israel Jewish group in Britain, eh? Bet not many people knew that. But they do now, thanks to the “antisemitism” chorus. I wonder if the older generation experienced child abuse or neglect, I suppose they did, but most probably picked themselves up and got on with it, instead of carrying around the victimhood mentality! Growing up in a harsh environment can be a good thing. If people growing up do not have hardship, and are given what they need and are not expected to do anything, then this will become the norm to them and this is where we get the workshy scroungers, they are used to getting too much for doing nothing.

Rob Mcaddress Poverty will always be with us, because horrible people will always be with us. There really are people out there who should never have had children, or even a kitten or a puppy come to that.

Old Clothes and Porridge I taught in the east end of Glasgow for over 30 years. I saw children from poor homes with alcohol and drug addict parents who did not turn out like their peers and parents. I saw children from all sorts of backgrounds (including fairly wealthy middle class) turn into objectionable types. Why? Because they liked it, because it gave them status and street cred, because they enjoyed the power they had over others, because they wanted instant gratification.
