Sunday’s performance against Hearts was our best in months, so it was frustrating that all we could claim was a point. Much like Scotland, our best performances seem to come against the bigger teams and we struggle to do the business against those around us, a pattern we’ll have to put right after the split if we’re to stay up.

The biggest difference from recent weeks was the number of chances we created at the weekend; since losing Scott Allan, we’ve been far less productive up top, but with Roarie Deacon and Paul Mcgowan on form we had a much better energy against Hearts. I don’t expect us to get any points from our Glasgow double header, but avoiding thumpings and keeping some semblance of positivity ahead of our five massive post-split fixtures will be key.
