Ross County Captain let us down

In the Brendan Rodgers era a 0-3 loss at Celtic Park is just about a par score. When you lose a goalkeeper through injury and have a man sent off – both before half-time – you do expect the worst. Thankfully the goal difference didn’t take a real hit, and that’s probably the only real positive to take from that match.

Andrew Davies is having to serve a two-match ban at a crucial point of the campaign after his red card. As captain he surely realises he has to set a higher standard than everyone else. The co-managers will need to decide whether or not it is worth persevering with him now.

We certainly coped without him on Tuesday and the rout over Partick has given everyone renewed hope that we can avoid relegation.
