Dumbarton Goal drought a concern

- Jack Crawford

I was hoping after we’d scored four goals in two games a few weeks ago that we’d push on and start to find the net more often after the drought, but it seems as if that isn’t the case.

The stats don’t lie and our last goal against a full-time team came back on Boxing Day. Heading into the play-offs against the likes of Ayr or Raith with that kind of record will only end one way.

Saturday isn’t worth talking about but I actually thought we were OK against Dundee United on Tuesday. A bit of composure in the final third and we might have taken something. We really need to find form, and goals, ahead of the playoffs, where every Dumbarton fan has resigned to being in.
