Teens target lost man in city murder attempt

-

A man ended up in hospital after being attacked by two teenagers in Glasgow’s city centre in an incident being treated as attempted murder.

The “violent and brutal” happened close to the Euro Hostel on Broomielaw about 5pm on Thursday.

Two boys, aged between 12 and 16, targeted a 21-yearold man after he stopped to ask two women for directions. The youths assaulted him before running off with the women towards the Riverboat Casino.

The victim was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary. He is in a serious, but stable condition.
