Blundering Boris

It is tragic that the Tory press support of Boris Johnston is unconditional even when he is clearly creating a falsehood.

While the Foreign Office pull his tweets because they don’t fit with the scientific verdict, he and sections of the press still defend the veracity of his claims. Like much of what

he claimed about Brexit his tweets are clearly wrong. As yet we have no evidence for blaming Russia – the Ukraine had similar chemicals. This country is catching up with the US for having a partisan press. Distrust can only grow in this atmosphere.
