A science taster session
Proving that science isn’t just about biology/chemistry/physics and the other subjects we flunked is the Edinburgh International Science Festival, which runs until 15 April. They’re also holding some food and drink themed events, such as Science and the Spirit of Scotland on Tuesday 10 April from 8-9pm at Summerhall’s Dissection Room, tickets £12, with whisky-based talks, demonstrations and experiments. Or, if you want to witness food myths being debunked, go see the The Angry Chef (Anthony Warner) on Sunday 15 April, 3-4pm, £8.50, at the National Museum of Scotland Auditorium.
