Man charged over assault in Glasgow

A man has been charged in connection with a Glasgow assault which left another man in hospital.

Police said a 30-year-old man was attacked on Millroad Drive in the city’s Calton area on Friday. Officers attended an incident at the scene at around 4:40pm and on arrival discovered the assault victim nearby. A 56-year-old man has now been arrested and charged.

Winning numbers in Saturday night’s Lotto draw were 1, 4, 31, 33, 52 and 55, with bonus ball 13.
