Construction worker injured at building site

A construction worker has been injured after material fell from a roof at a building site in Aberdeen.

Emergency services were called to the incident at the Stewart Milne Homes site in Charleston Road about 8:40am yesterday.

The Scottish Fire And Rescue Service said it was called to a report of a partial building collapse but the construction company later said there was no collapse with some material falling within the building.

The man, who was a subcontractor at the site, is not thought to have life threatening injuries.
