Region residents named biggest internet addicts

A Scottish region has been named the most addicted to the internet in the UK.

West Lothian residents are the most addicted, alongside Thanet in Kent, spending up to 32.9 hours online at home per week, 30 hours longer than the areas which spent the least time connected to the internet. People in West Lothian also use the most mobile data, at 5.2 GB per day, according to the study from finder.com.

Meanwhile, three other Scottish council areas – Highlands and Islands, Orkney Islands and Shetlandis­land–spendthele­ast amount of time online.
