Boy charged over alleged murder bid

A teenage boy has been arrested and charged in connection with the attempted murder of a 21-year-old man in Glasgow city centre.

The incident is alleged to have happened at Clyde walkway last Thursday. The Crown office said the 13-year-old from Airdrie appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court yesterday.

He faces charges of assault to severe injury, danger of life and attempted murder and attempting to defeat the ends of justice. The boy made no plea and was released on bail. He will appear in court at a later date.
