- By EMMA NEWLANDS

An independent fostering and residential care provider has secured a sevenfigure funding deal from the financial services arm of Bibby Line Group that will help achieve its domestic and overseas growth ambitions.

Care Visions, which has its Scottish base in Stirling and works with vulnerable children, adults and the elderly, has secured the £2.2millioninvoicefinance funding facility from Bibby Financial Services after speaking to the latter’s corporate team north of the Border. The care provider’s first children’s care home was in Scotland, and it is now present in England, Ireland and China.

Its chief executive officer, Mike Reid, said: “The working capital from BFS means we can focus our attention on our domestic growth ambitions and expanding our footprint in China and the UK through the provision of therapies for dementia sufferers.”
