Could City spoil the party? It was a packed Glebe Park on Saturday as the St Mirren fans sold out their away allocation for what could have been a potential title celebration.

With one eye on the match and another on events at Livingston, they were hoping this was their day. They took an early lead in the first half and cheers began to ring round Glebe Park after a goal down at Livingston.

City hit the crossbar in what proved to be our only decent chance of getting one back. They couldn’t find the breakthrough and, in four meetings this season have lost to the champions in waiting by a single goal each time.

It wasn’t to be for Saints as Livingston secured the win to postpone their title party.
