Speed camera goes live at Midlothian site

A new fixed speed camera has become operational on the A701 in Midlothian.

The decision to set up a camera in Milton Bridge comes after the stretch of the A701 was identified as a problem spot due to the number of injury collisions where speed was a major factor.

Police Scotland hope the camera will help cut the number of casualties at the site by encouraging improved driver behaviour.
