Drilling firm wins Norwegian deal

Aberdeen-based drilling and engineering contractor KCA Deutag has won an extension to a contract on the Ringhorne platform in the Norwegian North Sea.

KCA has worked on the platform, operated by Point Resources AS, since it was commissioned in 2002. The contract has an option to be extended by a further four years.
