Real horses give free rein to puppet version at stage show launch

Joey, the life-sized puppet which stars in the hit stage show War Horse, comes face-to-face with real-life horses from Police Scotland’s mounted unit to help publicise its run at the Festival Theatre in Edinburgh. The popular play tells the story of what befalls a boy and a horse during the First World War.
