St Mirren Just champion

The hangover, dear god the hangover. Writing this on Wednesday, I have just about recovered from the championship-winning party on Saturday when we finally clinched our title.

A long overdue chance of winning the title at home led to a sold-out crowd, and fantastic atmosphere at the 2021 Stadium. The final score against Livingston was 0-0, but that was a minor detail in the major picture, as that point meant no one could catch us. A pitch invasion and lap of honour in the stadium were great moments. The players visiting the local supporters’ pubs and nightclubs aided a party atmosphere like Paisley hasn’t seen since 2013’s League Cup win. The team showed how much the fans’ support has meant to them all season.
