Dundee United Better late than never

With the championship gone it’s ironic that United finally find a way to grind out wins. Three successive victories with no goals conceded masks the fact that the fare on offer is pretty poor from a spectators’ point of view.

However we have to be grateful that finally it looks like the players are fighting for a play-off place. The players are only now demonstrating the fight and dig that you need to get results. The addition of Mohsni has undoubtedly given us more solidity at the back and his ability to control a ball, find a man with a pass and not panic has been sorely missed in recent seasons. With Gillespie and Briels available to support the overworked Flood in midfield, Mcdonald might finally start earning his wages.
