Man charged after woman found dead

A man has been arrested after a woman was found dead in the back garden of a block of flats in East Dunbartonshire.

Officers were called to the scene at Alexander Place in Kirkintilloch about 3:40pm on Wednesday.

Thebodyofjennifermorgan, 33, was found in the back garden of the property in the East Dunbartonshire town. She was reportedly found by her 11-yearold daughter.

A 39-year-old man has now been charged in connection with Ms Morgan’s death. A 32-year-old man who was separately arrested has been released pending further inquiries.
