@Chscotland added: “A huge thank you to all of our amazing volunteers who are dedicated to supporting vulnerable children and young people in Scotland.”
@Volscotland posted: “We want to to do a massive Shout Out & Thank You to all the amazing volunteers across Scotland! How are you recognising, celebrating & thanking your volunteers?”
#TIME100
Time Magazine posted its annual list of the world’s 100 most influential people – and Ruth Davidson was ranked with the likes of Justin Trudeau and Sadiq Khan.
@Jamieross7 wrote: “No Nicola Sturgeon or Theresa May, which must sting a bit.”
@Conachair blasted: “She’s influential all right, but not in a good way as far as her party in Scotland is concerned.”
@Petethefury wrote: “Lots of haters on here and this is why she’s done so well and should be respected. I’m not a Tory or SNP but she has taken something from nothing and managed to at least give the SNP a challenge... more than anyone else. Congrats.
#ARSENEWENGER
One of the most decorated managers in English football has announced that he will leave the Premier League at the end of this season, with Arsene Wenger announcing his resignation from Arsenal.
@Garylineker wrote: “Wenger has given much of his life to Arsenal. He has brought much success to the club. He has given much to the game of football in our country. Merci et bonne chance, Monsieur Wenger.”
@Welbeast posted: “Coming back to Twitter to the news Arsene Wenger is leaving. Thought I’d be happy at the sound of this but I just feel empty inside. Like a part of me has been ripped off! I love you Arsene!”
@Skysportsnews quoted: “Jose Mourinho: ‘If he’s happy, I’m happy. If he’s sad, I’m sad. I’m sure we as a club will show Mr Wenger the respect that he deserves when we play on April 29.’”
