Sterling work at expanded plant says Sturgeon
A newly-expanded mill that is expected to boost the forestry sector after a £95 million investment was unveiled by the First Minister.
Nicola Sturgeon was visiting the Norbord plant in Inverness, which has been expanded and modernised after receiving a £12m development grant from Highlands and Islands Enterprise to produce oriented strand board, also known as sterling board.
Ms Sturgeon said: “Norbord’s £95m expansion of its Dalcross plant is one of the largest single inward investments made into Scotland.”
