Bite citing for Schoeman

Edinburgh-bound prop Pierre Schoeman has been cited for biting while playing in Super Rugby.

The 23-year-old Blue Bulls loosehead, who joins Edinburgh on a threeyear deal in August, was accused of biting Melbourne Rebels’ Richard Hardwick on the stomach during Saturday’s match in Pretoria. Schoeman was given an off-field red card by the citing commissioner and, if found guilty, the former South Africa U20 international may not play for the Bulls again.
