That’s six consecutive defeats for Accies now and the mood of the fans is not great. There are genuine fears that the rot will continue and that the season will have a very unhappy conclusion. The defeat on Saturday felt inevitable despite David Templeton’s great goal, with neither the forwards nor the defenders covering themselves in glory.

The game against Ross County seems to have been designed by the authorities to dissuade County fans from attending. It’s hard to imagine that many will be able to make the trip from Dingwall for a 12.30pm start, especially with the game being covered by Sky. We have been great at times this season and this is now a must-win game. Let’s all get behind the manager and team. It makes a difference.
