Man in court on murder charge

A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of Glasgow grandmother Julie Reilly.

Andrew Wallace made no plea during a hearing at Glasgow Sheriff Court yesterday.

The 41-year-old is also charged with attempting to defeat the ends of justice.

He was remanded in custody and is expected to return to the dock next week.

Ms Reilly, of Govan, was reported missing having been last seen at a supermarket near her home in February.
