Time machine: Vintage motorbike on display

A rare vintage motorcycle made its first public appearance in 33 years yesterday at Glasgow’s Riverside Museum.

The BSA S31-10 Sloper was donated to Glasgow Museums in 1985 by John Broadfoot, whose father James acquired the bike in 1931.

The vintage machine went on public display for the first time after specialists spent 700 hours returning the polished chrome bodywork to its original condition.
