Late bloomers: Daffodils finally come out in all their glory

The flowers, at Grampian Growers, finally bloomed after a cold spring put crops weeks behind schedule. Usually seen as one of the first signs that spring has arrived, daffodils are planted in the autumn and spend several months developing roots before flowering.
