Sheep group gains from Lottery awards
Community groups in Scotland are to share in a National Lottery windfall of more than £700,000.
The funding from the National Lottery Awards for All Scotland will be distributed among 97 groups.
Among them is the Orkney Sheep Foundation will receive £7,993 to organise this year’s North Ronaldsay Sheep Festival in the summer.
The event celebrates the island’s 2,000 seaweed-eating sheep.
